How to Adopt
Victor Valley Animal Protective League is open for pet adoptions. Keeping the safety of our staff, clients and pets as the top priority, all adoptions are by Appointment Only Tuesday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The button redirects you to Petango's website. We DO NOT receive these applications, and we DO NOT do applications over the internet or through our website. You MUST come in and adopt in person. All adoptions are on a first come, first served basis.
ADOPTION FEES
DOGS - $80
Includes spay/neuter, Bordetella and Parvo/Distemper vaccinations, rabies (dogs over 4 months), and microchip. Dogs younger than 4 months will receive 1st dose of vaccinations.
CATS - $40
Includes spay/neuter, RCP (Distemper) vaccination, rabies (cats over 4 months), and microchip.
WORKING CATS - $10
Includes spay/neuter, RCP (Distemper) vaccination, rabies (cats over 4 months), and ear-tip procedure.
OTHER ANIMALS
Adoption fees for other animals will vary and will not include spay/neuter, vaccinations or microchip.

FAILURE to follow instructions provided and posted on property are grounds for denial of services.
Adoptable Animals Disclaimer

Description of dog and cat breeds is solely based on visual appearance. The actual breed of any animal may be different than its “looks like” designation. VVAPL makes neither a guarantee nor representation as to the true breed of any animal nor any connection between the described breed and the pet’s temperament.

Updating animal information on our website and social media is a continuous endeavor. While every effort is made to keep our website and social media adoptable animals current, we cannot guarantee adoptable animals listed will be available for adoption when you visit VVAPL.

Adoptable animals are not placed on hold for adoption. All adoptions are completed on a first come, first served basis.

California law requires that all adopted dogs and cats be spayed or neutered before leaving our shelter for their new homes.
